Terms of Service

Effective Date: January 16, 2026

By booking an appointment with Rubber Ducky Grooming, you agree to the following terms:

1. Grooming Services & Safety

We reserve the right to refuse service to any pet that poses a risk to themselves or our staff. Owners must disclose any history of aggression or biting.

2. Vaccinations

Per Florida state law, all dogs must be up-to-date on Rabies vaccinations. Proof of vaccination must be provided before the first groom.

3. Fees & Cancellations

Matted Coats: Heavy matting involves extra risk and time. An additional "Dematting Fee" will apply.
No-Shows: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.

4. SMS Messaging Program

By opting into our SMS program, you agree to the following:

Program Description: We send appointment reminders, booking confirmations, and occasional promotional offers regarding grooming services.
Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your booking activity (typically 2-4 messages per month).
Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply.
Opt-Out: You can cancel at any time by texting "STOP".
Help: Text "HELP" for assistance or email us at [email protected].
Carrier Liability: Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. Emergency Medical Care

In the event of a medical emergency, if the owner cannot be reached, Rubber Ducky Grooming has permission to seek veterinary care at the owner's expense.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes will be handled in the jurisdiction of Tampa, FL.
